Instrumental Lessons

The fundamental aim of the MPO Instrumental Lessons programme is to help develop young musical talents and refine their skills to the highest performance caliber in Malaysia. Students will be accepted into the programme at the discretion of the MPO management based on their musical ability, type of instrument and availability of tutors.

Lessons are offered on the following instruments:

Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Harp.
Woodwind: Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, Cor Anglois, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, Contra Bassoon.
Percussion: Timpani, Marimba and other percussion instruments.
Brass: Trombone, Trumpet, French Horn, Euphonium, Bass Trombone, Tuba.
Keyboard: Organ.

Admission Fee: RM50 per 1⁄2 hour lesson / RM100 per 1 hour lesson
Note: Fees are in multiples of four lessons.
