Explore how music is made through these events. Each session covers aspects such as the composing process, the conductor’s interpretation and the musician’s artistry input. These varied Music Appreciation sessions are intended to entertain, inform and deepen appreciation of classical music, music-making as well as offering a unique opportunity to interact with the presenters.

The Healing Harp

Mention the word ‘harp’ and visions of angels playing heavenly music come to mind. An instrument often overlooked by Malaysians, it is nevertheless one of the most magical and beautiful instruments to see and hear. Come join MPO co-principal harpist Tan Keng Hong as he shares his experience and insights into the world of harps. Prepare to be amazed when he explores the therapeutic qualities associated with the soothing sounds of the harp.

Admission Fee
RM5 for Encounter Club members and student groups of 10 or more.
RM10 per person for the general public.
