Concert Rehearsals

Here’s a perfect opportunity for you to see conductor, soloist and orchestra in action in a genuine concert rehearsal. These rehearsals are intended for secondary school and college students.

Admission Fee
FREE for Encounter Club members and student groups of 10 or more. RM5 per person for the general public.

Bookings
For school groups, please call the Encounter Hotline. Individual bookings may be made at the Box Office. Seats are limited and subject to availability.

Note
Rehearsals may end earlier at the discretion of the conductor.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) recently hosted over 150 children and adults from eight homes to a fun-filled afternoon of musical delights celebrating famous heroic tales at the ‘Heroes and Heroines’ Open Rehearsal by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) conducted by Matthew Coorey and presented by Kevin Hathway.
