WE NOW ACCEPT:

Known for his mastery in conducting the symphony orchestra and opera, Bulgarian conductor Rossen Gergov leads the MPO to present a symphonic exploration of Romantic music. The concert opens with Glinka’s Ruslan and Ludmilla Overture, followed by acclaimed accordionist player Alexander Hrustevich playing Zubitsky’s Homage to Astor Piazolla, for accordion and orchestra. Finally, Dvořák’s austere and dramatic Symphony No. 7 outlines the composer’s Bohemian spirit, a fitting pinnacle for the evening.
